Hot, dry weather expected

Mainly hot weather is expected in most areas of country, while very hot with dust raising winds/ gusty winds are likely in southern parts during the next twenty-four hours. However, windstorm/gusty winds with isolated rain-thunderstorm is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, north Balochistan and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Temperature of major cities recorded on Sunday morning.Islamabad and Muzafarabad twenty-two degree centigrade, Lahore and Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-three, Quetta sixteen, Gilgit fifteen and Murree eighteen degree centigrade.

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula, while very hot and dry weather in Jammu. Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar and Baramula fifteen degree centigrade, Jammu twenty-eight, Leh three, Pulwama, Anantnag and Shopian fourteen degree centigrade. Meanwhile, the local Met Office Sunday predicted very hot with dust raising winds/gusty winds for Bahawalpur for the next 24 hours.—INP
