Hot, dry weather expected

Mainly very hot and dry weather is expected in most plain areas of the country. Gusty winds are likely in central/southern Punjab and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with rain-wind/thunderstorm in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad and Pothohar region and upper Punjab. Dust raising winds are likely in central and southern parts of the country during the period. Temperature of some major cities recorded.

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad nineteen degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-eight, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-two, Quetta seventeen, Gilgit eighteen and Murree sixteen degree centigrade. According to met office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, cloudy weather with chances of rain wind-thunderstorm during evening and night is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, and Baramula, while partly cloudy weather with chances of rain wind-thunderstorm during evening and night in Jammu, Anantnag and Shopian.
