ISLAMABAD – PTI founder Imran Khan on Thursday appeared before Supreme Court via video link in the NAB amendments case.
A photo circulating on social media shows the former premier sitting on a chair as he has put on blue T-shirt during the hearing.
A SC five-member bench led by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa and comprising Justice Amin-Ud-Din Khan, Justice Jamal Mandokhail, Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Hassan Azhar is hearing the intra-court appeals filed by the federal and provincial governments against the amendments struck down by the apex court.
Earlier in the day, arrangements for appearance of PTI founder Imran Khan in Supreme Court via video link in the NAB amendments case were made at the Adiala Jail where the former prime minister remains detained for months.
The arrangements were made in line with the apex court’s order allowing the PTI founder to appear before it via video link.
