Healthcare in far flung areas my mission: CM

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that he is moving the mission ahead for improving the healthcare facilities in far flung areas.
He said this during a visit to Muzaffargarh and announced a number of projects for the progress and prosperity of people of the area. Usman Buzdar also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various public welfare schemes. The CM while making huge announcement gave formal approval for setting up of university for Muzaffargarh, construction of dual carriageway road from Alipur to Muzaffargarh, awarding the status of Chowk Sarwar Shaheed as tehsil and establishing industrial estate in Muzaffargarh.
He also visited DHQ Hospital Muzaffargarh and inaugurated the newly constructed gynae ward and labour room. He also visited gynae ward and inspected the medical facilities being provided over there besides inquired after them. He said that PTI government is bringing revolutionary changes in the health sector and quality healthcare facilities in Muzaffargarh would be ensured.
He also inaugurated Qasar-e-Behbood in Muzaffargarh and visited dress make centre, beautician training centre, art & graphic and computer centre over there. He also inquired about the problems of the women getting vocational training in the centre. Usman Buzdar said that the government is creating ease for all segments of the society as looking after the public is the basic responsibility of the state.
Training is being imparted to the women in 8 different skills and this project is cost Rs.6 crore. He said that market need vocational training will be provided to the women in this institute. He said that facility being provided to the women in this institute will be further improved.
The women while talking to Usman said that no chief minister visited here ever and his visit gave them courage. They thanked the chief minister for listening their problems. The chief minister also inaugurated first of its kind Sahulat Centre, set up in Deputy Commissioner Office Muzaffargarh and inspected the facilities being provided to the people over there.
The chief minister said that different types of facilities are being provided to the people in the Sahulat Centre including domicile, certified/attested documents, firearm license, NOC for the new petrol pump, benevolent fund and other facilities. He further directed that no case should be delayed without any reason. Peoples’ problem should be redressed immediately and facilities on the bus stand should be reviewed before issuing route permit.
Usman Buzdar also visited Sadar Police Station Muzaffargarh and inspected various wings of the police station.
