Health Minister reviews pace of development at DHQ Chakwal and THQ Kallar Kahar


Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid reviewed progress on the development of District Headquarter Hospital Chakwal and Tehsil Headquarters Kallar Kahar in a meeting at the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department here on Wednesday.

Present in the meeting were Secretary Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Imran Sikander Baloch, Special Secretary Development Dr. Naveed, CEO Health Chakwal, MS DHQ Hospital Chakwal and other officials. Special Secretary Development apprised the Health Minister of the developments at DHQ Chakwal and THQ Kallar Kahar.

The Health Minister said, “We are developing a 500-bedded DHQ in Chakwal.

The new DHQ will have a burn unit, gynae, labour rooms, urology and other departments.

All kinds of health services shall be available in the DHQ.

Two state of the art trauma centers are being set up in the area including one at Dullah.

The quality of services have improved a great deal at our hospitals. We are making all out efforts to make improvements in public sector facilities as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
