LEEDS – Fast bowler Hasan Ali has been released from the Pakistan squad ahead of the first T20I against England.
The team management has decided to let Hasan Ali continue his commitments in county cricket. Initially, the right-arm fast bowler was selected as an injury cover for Haris Rauf.
Green shirts are taking on England in the first of the four-match T20I series today. This is the last bilateral series of the Pakistan cricket team before the T20I World Cup 2024 scheduled to start early next month. Pakistan will announce the 15-member squad for the mega event after the first match in Leeds.
