Hafizabad city and all the villages in the district received torrential rain Tuesday afternoon which fully exposed the “efficiency” of the Tehsil Municipal Administration. All the city roads converted into streams due to heavy rain and malfunctioning of sewerage system and overflowing of drains. Most of the localities in the city were inundated with rain water and sewage causing multiple problems to the citizens. The rain water and sewage entered into the houses in all the low-lying localities in the city rendering the lives of the inhabitants absolutely miserable.
