Hafizabad MC sacks 120 sanitary workers

The Hafizabad Municipal Authority has sacked 120 daily-wage sanitary workers from service.
Chairman CBA Ishaq Khokhar and almost all the former councilors of MC Hafizabad have expressed their resentment over the decision of the MC authorities.
They said that the Municipal Corporation Hafizabad has inadequate sanitary workers and retrenchment of services of 120 daily-wagers would further deteriorate the sanitary conditions in the city particularly during the upcoming rainy season.
They demanded not only reinstatement of the 120 daily-wagers but recruitment of sufficient staff to provide better hygienic conditions to the citizens during the monsoon season.
