Govt working hard to address masses problems, says Sharjeel Memon

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has stated that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah himself is overseeing the relief operations in rain hit areas.

The Sindh Chief Minister has visited the entire city. He stated that 40 mm of rain recorded in the city in two days. Dewatering has been completed in 95 percent areas and remaining areas will also be cleared till late night.

He added that problems multiplied due to continuous rains and high tides in the sea. The Minister expressed these views while addressing a press conference at KPT Underpass Clifton.

Despite that, provincial ministers, chief secretary Sindh, administrator Karachi, and officials of KMC, DMCs, Solid Waste Management, District Administration were seen working on the roads and added that Sindh government would continue to do its job, let the opponents continue to criticize. He added that If it rains again, the Sindh government will be seen working on the roads in the same way. He rejected the the claims of opponents that officials were on Eid leaves and termed it political scoring and accusations for sake of upcoming local bodies elections.
