Govt utilizing all resources to achieve 100pc literacy

Government is utilizing all available resources for achieving target of hundred percent literacy rate in the country while 350 nan-formal literacy centres are established for enabling literate more than ten thousand students in the district.

This was stated by the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Toqeer Ilyas Cheema while addressing a seminar held at district council hall in connection with observing Global Literacy Day under the auspiciy of Literacy Department Hafizabad, on Thursday.

CEO Education Javed Iqbal Babar, DO Literacy Muhammad Shafiq, DEO (W) Talat Mehmood, DDEO (W) Nargis Arif, teachers, students and social workers attended the seminar. DC said that district administration and Literacy department Hafizabad was committed to achieve the target of hundred percent literacy rate in the district Hafizabad.
