District Population Welfare Officer Tank Dr. Muhammad Tariq has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has taken a very good initiative for the welfare of the people in reproductive health care and promotion of reproductive health rights throughout the province. The provincial government is trying to promote reproductive health care and reproductive health rights throughout the province for the welfare of the people.
In 2020, under the approval of the implementation of the law for the welfare of the people under the supervision of the Department of Welfare for the protection of reproductive health rights, the implementation of the relevant act to provide the best medical facilities and rights related to reproductive health without any discrimination, the need to ensure is emphasized.
He expressed these views while briefing the media in his office. He said that in the light of this act, any government or non-government organization providing reproductive health services will be subject to the prior permission of the Department of Population Welfare. He further said that these powers have also been assigned to the Department of Population Welfare in this act.
