Govt trying best to provide flour at subsidized rates: Abrar


Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Abrar Ahmad has said that govt is trying its level best to provide flour at subsidised rates and for the purpose sale points have been set up across the province. He said this during his visit to Attock .

He was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Attock Muhammad Zulqarnain and other officers.

SACM Abrar Ahmad directed the concerned officers to ensure proper monitoring of the subsidised flour sale poiints .

He also interacted with the people present at sale points.

He also presided over the meeting of price control committee. Meanwhile DC Attock Muhammad Zulqarnain visited different health facilities of the district which included THQ Hospitals Fatehjang, THQ Hospital Pindigheb, THQ Hospital Jand and Basic Health Unit Jabbi .

During his visit he visited different areas of the health facilities, checked attendance of the staff and also visited under construction Trauma Centers at THQ Hospital Fatehjang and Jand .

During his visit to BHU Jabbi , he directed the concerned to ensure biometric attendance of the staff . DC also checked medicines and other record of the health facilities and got briefing about the facilities being provided to the patients.

Deputy Commissioner also paid surprised visits to Khushalgarh check-post and fertilisers sale points at Ikhlas and Fatehjang.

He also asked the farmers who had come there to purchase fertilisers, to carry out purchase as per their needs and not to involve themselves in hoarding.

Later DC Attock paid a surprise visit to District Jail Attock to check cleanliness of the prisoners barracks, dining hall and different other facilities being provided to the prisoners.
