Khyber Pakhtunkhwa senior minister Atif Khan has said that the provincial government is taking serious steps to empower the youth economically and Rs 5 billion has been allocated to empower the youth in this regard. These views were expressed by the senior minister during a meeting with senior officials of the Bank of Khyber in connection with providing loan to the youth on easy terms. Other issues, including methods and strategies for starting a business for the youth, were discussed. Senior minister said that Rs 3 billion would be provided to the merged districts while Rs 2 billion would be provided to the youth of other districts of the province so that the youth would be economically stable.
