Govt concerned about over population, taking steps to tackle issue: SACM

Special Assistant Chief Minister Punjab for Population Welfare Taimur Ali Lali has said that the government has highly concerned about the overpopulation and taking steps to deal with the issue.

He was speaking during his visit to under construction site of Population House in Lahore on Monday. Director General Population Welfare Saman Rai also accompanied him.

Taimur Ali Lali inspected the under-construction sections of the Population House and was given a detailed briefing regarding the project.

Speaking on the occasion, the Special Assistant to CM said that the incumbent government understands the seriousness of the problem of overpopulation and the initiation of projects like Population House was a clear proof of this.

He said that the construction of Population House will improve the working of the department and one window operation will be started. He further said that the construction of the house will provide all the services under one roof.
