Govt committed to ensure provision of relief to masses: Raza


Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Muhammad Asif Raza has said that the Punjab government is committed to ensure provision of relief to the masses and all available resources are being utilized for this purpose.

He expressed these views while inaugurating newly established Model Pushcart Bazaar in the middle of city at premises of old Tehsil Office, on Tuesday. Chief Officer MC Unit Hafizabad Ikram Ullah Sandhu and other officers were also present on this occasion.

He said that with establishment of this Model Pushcart Bazaar not only temporarily encroachments which were creating major hurdles in communication of the people would be removed from roads of the city but people could be purchased fresh and cheaper fruits and vegetables than market.

He also said that special price control magistrates were monitoring shops and markets to overcome artificial inflation and hoarding across the district.

Meanwhile, District Education Authority Hafizabad has sought applications from class four employees of education for promotion as junior clerks under 20 percent in-service quota fixed by the government.

Chief Executive Officer Education Hafizabad Javed Iqbal Babar has said that the regular class four employees of the education department having FA/F.Sc educational qualification second division and typing speed 25 words per minute are eligible for submitting applications.
