Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Punjab Parliamentary Leader Syed Hassan Murtaza, while responding to Law Minister Raja Basharat, has said that the remnants of dictators in the Punjab Assembly have revived the dictatorship of Zia, Musharraf and Ayub Khan.
In his statement on Friday, he said that the government cannot strangle our voice, adding new rules have been made in the assembly, it was said that audio and video of my speech will not go out of the house, my words were expunged.
“I did not speak in a non-parliamentary manner. Beggar is not a non-parliamentary word”, he explained.
Hassan Murtaza said that while I am a part of the House, I would keep talking about my rights and the rights of the people, no one could stop us, we believe in democracy. He vows, we will not allow anyone to bulldoze democratic traditions.
