Govt asked for calling all parties meeting on Kashmir

Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirjaul Haq has called upon the government to immediately convening a meeting of the national leadership on the Kashmir issue.
Addressing a meeting of the JI provincial heads at Al-Markaz Peshawar, he said that the brutalities of Indian occupation forces in Held Kashmir had crossed all limits and an effective strategy must be devised to check India’s repression.
He said that after its humiliating defeat in Ladakh against Chinese forces, India could target civilians on the Pakistan border or the LoC for face-saving. He said that the international community must be kept fully informed of India’s provocations.
Sirajul Haq decried the government step motherly treatment to the overseas Pakistanis. He said that the Pakistanis abroad had been remitting billions of dollars every year and helping the nation in distress, However, he said the treatment given to them on return was a matter of shame. He demanded that the double fare and quarantine rent charged from the overseas Pakistanis returning home be reimbursed to them forthwith.
Referring to the plane crash in Karachi, the JI Chief said that the whole nation was grieved over the tragedy. He called for a transparent enquiry in to the crash so that another tragedy could be averted in the future.
Sirjul Haq lauded the services of the Al-Khidmat Foundation and the JI workers to the people during lock down and the month of Ramnzan. He said that the whole nation was a witness to their services in this crisis.
JI Deputy Chief Liaqat Baloch has said that the decision regarding a fresh lockdown should be taken after a careful study of the facts and the nation be duly informed of the measures of corona control.
In a statement here, he said that if the decision was taken in a haphazard manner, the virus was likely to spread and the masses could go against the rulers.
Liaqat Baloch said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s “Tabdeeli regime” had become a curse for the masses. The country’s economy had been destroyed even before corona and the poor and the middle class people had already been crushed. As a result, the wrong decision of the government to control corona only led to the further spread of the virus.
