Governor Sindh Imran Ismail on Sunday visited National Institute of Child Health (NICH)and inquired about the treatment being offered to the victim of brutal Kashmore incident. He also met with her mother and while conveying the message from Prime Minister lauded her courage for approaching police and seeking its help in difficult circumstances.
Professor Jamal Raza, Director NICH briefed the Governor Sindh about the condition of minor girl and treatment being provided to her. He also explained in detail the injuries to the victim.
The Governor Sindh said that this is a very saddening and tragic incident which shows the utmost brutality of involved culprits, who in any way cannot be called as humans as they have crossed limits of humanity only for their sexual lust, from which one has been dispatched to hell. He hoped that other arrested culprit would be granted exemplary punishment by the courts.
Begum Governor Sindh, MNA Mr. Aftab Siddiqui, MPA’s Mr. Khurram Sher Zaman, Mr. Jamal Siddiqui, Mr. Shahzad Qureshi, Mr. Mahmood Molvi and Mr. Adnan Ismail were also present on the occasion.
The Governor Sindh while talking with the mother of the girl, Ms. Tabbasum said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is very saddened and grieved by this horrific incident and he has strictly directed for exemplary retribution to the involved culprits. He has also directed for every possible treatment for the victim and even desired that if she requires treatment aboard, the same must be arranged without any delay, Governor Sindh added and said that nothing should come in the way of better treatment of the minor girl.
While talking with media after inquiring about the health of the victim, Governor Sindh said that this is an incident which has moved all with a sensitive heart and soul. All eyes wept on tail of events faced by the mother and her minor child, he opined.
He said culprits who carried out this heinous crime are unaware by the revenge of Allah Almighty. Their punishment with Allah is very severe and they would face the same on the Day of Judgment, he added.
He lauded the bravery, intelligence and devotion towards duty of ASI Mohammad Bux and said that he is our hero who not only acted gallantly but also involved his family to apprehend the culprit. Entire nation salutes our hero, he added.
The Governor Sindh said Prime Minister phoned Mr. Mohammad Bux and commended his bravery. He would soon by invited to Prime Minister House and his brave act for rescuing a minor would be appreciated, he said.
He said that he has presented Rs 5 lac to the mother for her daily expenditures while Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Mr. Ali Zaidi has committed for the expenditure of the minor and providing job to the mother in an organization under Ministry of Maritime Affairs.
He also lauded the role and steps taken by the provincial Government after knowledge of this incident and commended the efforts of all personnel of police who took part in action against the culprits.
