Governor Tessori participates Christmas prayers at St. Patrick’s church

On the occasion of Christmas, Governor Sindh, Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, attended a prayer ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church. The prayer was led by Father Benjamin Shehzad, who offered prayers for peace and prosperity. Governor Tessori conveyed his heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community and expressed his appreciation for their contribution to the country’s economic development.

He stated, “The Christian community stands side by side with us in the progress of Pakistan, and minorities in Pakistan enjoy complete freedom.” Following the prayer service, Governor Tessori, along with Father Benjamin Shehzad, addressed the media.

He extended his congratulations on the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and said, “Today is a day to celebrate both the birth of our Father of the Nation and Christmas. I also extend my best wishes to the Christian community on their festive occasion.” Governor Tessori also shared that the Governor House hosted celebrations for both Jinnah’s birthday and Christmas, where a cake-cutting ceremony would take place. He expressed his happiness that the prayers offered during the ceremony were focused on Pakistan’s security and development.

Governor stated that his mission was to train young people in IT skills, with 50,000 children currently enrolled in IT courses at the Governor House.
