Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori held a meeting with a high-level Saudi delegation at the Governor House. The delegation was led by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, initiatives to enhance ties, provision of more facilities to Pakistani pilgrims and visitors, the Road to Makkah project, and other matters of mutual interest.
Governor Sindh praised the provision of facilities by the Saudi government for Pakistani pilgrims and Umrah visitors. He expressed gratitude to each member of the delegation for their visit, stating that he was particularly pleased to meet the Saudi ambassador and had made a special trip to Karachi for the meeting. He also conveyed his greetings to Saudi Minister for Religious Affairs Dr. Tawfiq. The Saudi ambassador stated that Pakistan’s peace is essential for the Islamic world’s peace, and the Saudi government values investment in Pakistan. They are keen to provide more facilities to Pakistani pilgrims.
Later, the high-level Saudi delegation, accompanied by Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, visited IT classes. The enthusiastic students warmly welcomed Governor Sindh and the delegation. Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki also addressed the students. Governor Sindh informed the delegation that during the 17-month tenure, Governor House was opened to the public, and during this time, more than 1.4 million people visited Governor House.
