On the 35th day of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s “World Culture Festival Karachi” German artists delivered an outstanding performance in “Jazz Music,” attended by Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, German Consul General Rudiger Lotz, Chairman and the Editor-,in-Chief Pakistan Observer Faisal Zahid Malik and Goethe Institute Pakistan Director Andreas Schiekofer. The jazz performance featured artists Luise Volkmann, Paul Jarrett, and Max Andrzejewski, who won the hearts of the audience. Governor Tessori stated that international artists are our guests and that he will invite everyone, including Ahmed Shah, to a dinner, where guests will be welcomed with Sindhi culture including ajrak and caps.

He noted that all provinces of Pakistan contributed to the festival, which is the only one of its kind in the world, made possible by Ahmed Shah. He praised Ahmed Shah’s efforts and announced that he would write to Asif Zardari, suggesting that despite his illness, Ahmed Shah organized huge festival so he deserves the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz for promoting culture. Tessori added that Ahmed Shah would showcase Pakistan’s true face to the world as an ambassador. The festival has been ongoing for 35 days, representing the real face of Pakistan. He mentioned receiving calls from London about the festival in Karachi, stating that the cultural fair has demonstrated that Karachi can host events in any environment. Approximately 250 foreigners visited Karachi, and by ensuring their foolproof security, we have proven that Pakistan, especially Karachi, is a safe city.
