Governor of Sindh, Kamran Khan Tessori, hosted a grand Christmas celebration at the Governor House, attended by Consuls General and Deputy Consuls General from Iran, UAE, Turkey, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, and other countries.

The event also saw participation from leaders of the Hindu, Christian, and Sikh communities, as well as notable figures from various walks of life, including Cardinal Joseph Coutts from Karachi. During the celebration, Governor Tessori cut the Christmas cake with the attendees and distributed gifts to children.

In his address to the media afterward, the Governor extended his heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community, emphasizing that all national and religious celebrations are joyously observed at the Governor House.

He highlighted that such events, whether related to Guru Nanak’s celebrations, Hindu festivals, or those of the Christian and Baha’i communities, are celebrated with equal enthusiasm. Governor Tessori also reaffirmed that all minorities in Pakistan enjoy equal rights, and that the country’s minorities are united and on the same page.
