Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori has dispatched relief goods worth over 20 million rupees to support the people of Parachinar. The aid package includes medicines, surgical supplies, milk for children, and other essential items. These goods were transported via helicopter in collaboration with JDC’s Zafar Abbas.
Additionally, ration bags and other necessities have been sent from Karachi to provide further assistance during this challenging time. In response to an urgent crisis in Kurram Agency, Governor Sindh also took swift action to address a critical oxygen shortage in local hospitals.
On his directives, Zafar Abbas coordinated the delivery of liquid oxygen cylinders to the area. Reports of severe shortages leading to increased fatalities prompted this intervention. Each liquid oxygen cylinder can replace the need for 100 standard oxygen cylinders, providing a robust solution to the pressing healthcare crisis.
According to Zafar Abbas, the cost of these cylinders runs into millions of rupees, reflecting the scale and urgency of the response.
