Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori, has expressed deep concern over a recent traffic accident in the SITE area of Karachi. In response to the incident, where several individuals lost their lives or were injured, the governor extended his condolences, praying for the deceased’s forgiveness, elevation of their ranks, and patience for their families. Governor Tessori highlighted that the increasing number of traffic accidents in Karachi raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the responsible authorities.
He emphasized the need for the traffic department to take a more active role in ensuring vehicle fitness certificates are strictly enforced. He stressed that vehicles without proper road fitness certificates should not be allowed on the roads under any circumstances.
