Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Tessori held a significant meeting with Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Crescent Sighting Committee Pakistan, and Ambassador of Peace, at the Governor House. The discussion centered on establishing peace, fostering religious harmony, promoting national unity, and the importance of the pulpit and mihrab in conveying the message of Pakistan.

During the meeting, which was attended by prominent social figures Chaudhry Basharat and Zafar Chaudhry, Maulana Azad stressed the critical role of unity and religious harmony in ensuring peace in Pakistan. He called for a collective effort to protect the values of Islam, enhance interfaith relations, and uphold the sanctity of religious schools as fortresses of Islam.

He also highlighted the importance of government negotiations with religious schools to promote dialogue and prevent conflicts. Maulana Azad condemned terrorism, extremism, and sectarianism, emphasizing that these are the agendas of the enemy powers aiming to disrupt national unity.

He affirmed that Pakistan’s land would not be allowed to be used for terrorism and urged the citizens to remain vigilant against external threats. He further appealed to the scholars and imams of mosques to use the pulpit and mihrab to advocate for a peaceful Pakistan free from chaos and violence.

The Maulana acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the Sindh Governor for a permanent solution to the Parachinar issue, praising the Governor’s initiatives for public welfare, including the establishment of food packages for the needy, IT centers for youth, and educational projects. He also commended the Governor’s open-door policy and his commitment to addressing the nation’s problems.
