In his inaugural address, he said that we should transform the spirit of independence into our life because this was the right time to follow principles of our national heroes.
“We have to turn Pakistan into ideal country as envisioned by Quaid I Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Mohammad Iqbal and other heroes of Pakistan”, he added.
He further suggested to hold such exhibitions at educational institutes so that our young generation come to know about struggle and vision of our leader in making creation of Pakistan possible.
He appreciated the efforts of DEMP, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Islamabad in organising a pictorial exhibition of national importance in presentable manner.
Visitors from different walks of life witnessed the rare pictures of Allama Mohammad Iqbal from archives of Directorate of Electronic Media and Publication Karachi, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Islamabad .
Earlier Director DEMP Karachi Raisa Adil throw light on the life of Allama Iqbal and his poetry.
She also explained the significance of the Pictorial Exhibition on 83rd death anniversary of Allama Iqbal.
She thanked Iram Tanveer DG PID Karachi, M Khalid Mairaj Abbasi Director PID, renouned writers, journalists, and the participants for taking out their precious time for the exhibition.
