Governor Sindh Imran Ismail visited the residence of Ali Akbar Khan, the son of Shaheed Millat Khan Liaquat Ali Khan on Thursday to enquire after his health. He prayed for Akbar’s full and speedy recovery.
The governor offered all possible cooperation from the federation to Ali Akbar Khan. In this regard, details of accounts for monthly stipend have also been taken. Talking to media, Imran Ismail said that he had come to Ali Akbar Khan’s house on the special directive of the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
He said that the federation has assured financial support to Ali Akbar Khan’s family and added that if the children of the founders of Pakistan have any problem, then it is our responsibility to help and cooperate with them in every possible way.
Replying to a question, the governor said that he would request the Prime Minister to set up a fund which would help the children of the founders of Pakistan.
Imran Ismail said that the Sindh government should support the federal government in the implementation of ongoing development projects in Sindh, especially in Karachi, so that the development projects in Sindh could be completed as soon as possible.
He said that Sindh government should promote an atmosphere of convenience and cooperation instead of unwarranted criticism.
