ISLAMABAD – Google has significantly revised the pricing of its Google One cloud storage and artificial intelligence subscription services in Pakistan, with some premium packages now reaching as high as Rs. 70,000 per month.

The updated structure revealed that the new pricing applies to a wide range of plans—from basic storage options to high-end AI-powered subscriptions—reflecting a broader global adjustment. The company stated that the increase is linked to rising infrastructure and service delivery costs across multiple markets, including Pakistan.

Under the revised rates, the widely used 100GB Basic plan has nearly doubled, climbing from Rs. 219 to Rs. 419 per month. Its annual subscription has also increased proportionately to around Rs. 4,199.

In addition to conventional storage tiers, the tech giant is now actively promoting bundled packages that integrate cloud storage with advanced AI tools such as its Gemini AI, research assistance features, and workflow automation services.

The updated pricing structure includes:

Entry-level plans ranging from 30GB to 100GB

Mid-tier and premium storage options extending up to 20TB

AI-integrated plans such as Google AI Pro offering 2TB storage

High-end Google AI Ultra package providing up to 30TB storage along with a full suite of AI tools

The industry figures show that the promotional price for the AI Ultra plan exceeds Rs. 35,000 per month, while its standard monthly cost approaches Rs. 70,000, targeting enterprise users and high-demand professionals.

Revised monthly pricing for storage plans in Pakistan includes Rs. 189 for 30GB, Rs. 419 for 100GB, Rs. 649 for 200GB, and Rs. 2,099 for 2TB. Higher tiers such as 10TB and 20TB are priced at Rs. 10,999 and Rs. 21,999 respectively, with the 30TB plan reaching Rs. 32,999 per month.

For AI-integrated subscriptions, Google AI Pro is priced at approximately Rs. 5,600 per month, while Google AI Ultra stands at around Rs. 70,000 monthly.

Annual plans, offered at discounted rates, include Rs. 1,899 for 30GB, Rs. 4,199 for 100GB, and Rs. 20,999 for 2TB storage.

The latest move signals a strategic shift by Google toward AI-driven subscription models, with a growing focus on professionals, content creators, and businesses rather than casual users.
