Following this international trend, the local bullion market also experienced a price correction. The price of gold per tola (11.66 grams) fell by Rs. 1,500, now settling at Rs. 355,500. Meanwhile, the rate for 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs. 1,286, making the new price Rs. 304,783.
