KARACHI – Gold prices recorded an increase in line with upward trend in international market on Tuesday, 02 December 2025.
As reported by the All Pakistan Saraafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold stood at Rs446,862 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams stood at Rs383,112.
Gold continues to be one of the world’s most valued precious metals, prized for its rarity, resilience, and reputation as a dependable asset during times of financial instability. It is available for trading in various formats, including physical bullion, futures contracts, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
Historically, investors have viewed gold as a safeguard against inflation and currency volatility. Key global markets for gold trading include London, New York, and Shanghai, with its price largely shaped by changes in interest rates, currency movements, and international political or economic events.
