KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan saw upward momentum on the first working day of the week in contrast with international rates.
Data shared by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association shows that the price of yellow metal saw an increase of Rs700 and it now stands at Rs215,800 per tola on Monday.
The cost of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs600 to Rs185,000 from the earlier price of Rs184,414. The price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold surged to Rs169,596 from the previous price of Rs169,046.
Silver Price in Pakistan
Meanwhile, the price of Silver per tola remains unchanged at Rs2,570 and 10 grams at Rs2,200.
In the international market, the price of gold moved down amid tensions in Middle East. The yellow metal was down 0.2pc at $2,032.3 per ounce, while US gold futures were 0.4pc lower at $2,041.5 per ounce.
