The broader market trend also points to a decline from the levels recorded in September. Gold reportedly reached approximately Rs451,550 per tola in mid-to-late September before losing around Rs22,000 from that peak.

October fluctuations suggest that the market has struggled to sustain gains, although intermittent recoveries have prevented a continuous downward movement.

Gold Down Around 30%

Gold prices have also declined substantially from their 2026 peak. The supplied data puts the highest rate at Rs616,790 per tola in early February, compared with the separately reported current rate of Rs439,036.

The difference shows decline of approximately 28.8%, while comparison with the October historical series near Rs429,000–430,000 indicates a fall of roughly 30%.

The market reportedly reached a yearly low of around Rs421,700 per tola in July. Prices recovered to some extent during August and September before weakening again in October. Monthly averages generally declined between February and July, followed by a partial recovery over the next two months.
