KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed modest jump on September 25, with rate of 24-karat gold increasing by Rs4,700 per tola amid a corresponding rise in international bullion prices.
The domestic gold rate reached Rs453,036 per tola, while the price of 10 grams increased by Rs4,029 to Rs388,404. The latest increase followed a significant decline a day earlier, when gold lost Rs5,600 per tola and was priced at Rs448,336.

The international gold price also moved higher on Friday, rising $47 to $4,305 per ounce. Silver followed the upward trend in the local market, with its price increasing by Rs126 to Rs6,963 per tola.

The gold market started 2026 with a significant upward move, culminating in the year’s peak of Rs616,790 per tola in February. Prices then moderated over the following months. The monthly average declined from Rs505,612 in March to Rs468,163 in May.
