This sharp rise comes just a day after the market saw a decline, with the price of one tola falling by Rs1,900 on Thursday to Rs347,500.
The rally in domestic prices is attributed to a robust performance in the international market. Global gold rates surged by $35, reaching $3,326 per ounce, including a $20 premium, as reported by APGJSA.
Analysts suggest the upward movement is driven by global economic uncertainty and continued investor interest in precious metals as safe-haven assets.
