Gold prices in Pakistan witness another drop despite positive global cues

Gold prices in Pakistan saw another drop despite upward trend in the international market.

Data shared by central bank suggests that the 24-karat gold dropped to Rs218,200 per tola after drop of Rs1800 drop while 22-karat variant cost Rs187,070 per tola after cut of Rs1545.

Thursday remains the second consecutive day of downtrend in Pakistani market, as precious was down by Rs1300 on Wednesday.

In global market, the rate of the precious metal moved down by $15 to $2,067 per ounce today.
