KARACHI – Gold rates saw massive tweaks in recent days, amid fluctuations in global market trends, and the bullion reached Rs280,500 after single-day gain of Rs2,500.
Data shared by Sarafa Association shows price of gold per tola moved up to Rs280,500, while price for 10 grams of yellow metal climbed by Rs2,143, settling at Rs240,483 on Friday.

This hike in gold prices follows a previous increase on Thursday, when the price per tola had surged by Rs3,700, closing at Rs278,000. The continued rise in gold prices is attributed to fluctuations in international markets, which have been influencing local rates.
