ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan recorded another dip for second consecutive day in line with dropping global rates on Saturday.

According to jewellers association, price of per tola gold plunged by Rs9,100 to close at Rs430,662 on closing day of the business week.

The price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs7,799 in local market where it is being traded for Rs369,223.

The precious commodity also witnessed massive decrease in its prices in international bullion market where per ounce rate hvoers at $4,083 after a decline of $91.

The per tola price of per tola 24-karat gold in Pakistan stands at Rs430,662 following a decline of Rs9,100.

Silver Prices in Pakistan Today

Data released by the jewellers association showed per tola silver price dipped by Rs209 to settle at Rs5,313.

A day earlier, the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,300 and was traded at Rs439,762 per tola compared to Rs443,062 on the last trading day.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs2,829 to Rs377,025 from Rs379,854, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs 2,594 to Rs 345,618 from Rs 348,212.

Meawhile, Pakistan’s economic recovery is gaining momentum, as highlighted by global magazine Bloomberg. According to the publication, the value of Pakistan’s dollar-denominated bonds continues to rise, positioning the country as a leading player in the Asian markets, with a remarkable 24.5% return this year alone.

Bloomberg reports that, following a challenging two-year period, Pakistan is now ready to re-enter the global debt market. The country’s growing investor confidence has been bolstered by upgrades in its credit ratings from S&P Global and Fitch Ratings. These rating agencies’ positive assessments have reinforced investor trust in Pakistan’s financial stability.

Additionally, Pakistan is set to re-enter the bond markets, with plans to issue yuan bonds this year and euro bonds in 2026.
