KARACHI – The Gold price went up by Rs2,750 per tola in the local markets, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association confirmed on Thursday.
The current price of the precious metal soared to Rs228,150 per tola.
Besides it, the price of gold surged by Rs2,358 per 10 grams, reaching Rs195,602.
However, the scenario differed for other precious metals.
Spot silver faced a slight decline of 0.4%, settling at $24.08 per ounce. Similarly, platinum experienced a 0.3% dip, reaching $904.83 per ounce, while palladium slipped by 1.5% to $1,026.80 per ounce, after remarkable surge of more than 12% in the preceding session.
In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a significant uptick, climbing by $26 to reach $2,174 per ounce.
