KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continued downward trend on Wednesday after they touched record-high level.
According to Sarafa association, the per tola price of gold in Pakistan dropped by Rs800 to close at Rs239,200 whereas the price of the 10-gram fell by Rs686 to reach Rs205,075.
In international market, gold also suffered losses as it shed $5 to close at $2,312 per ounce.

A day earlier, gold rates in Pakistan also saw slight drop as per tola price moved down by Rs500 to Rs 240,000. Meanwhile, rates of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs 429 to Rs 205,761.
This adjustment reflects the changing trends in the precious metal market, which has drawn reactions from investors and consumers.
