Gold Rates Fall Massive Rs10400 Per Tola In Pakistan Check New Prices

KARACHI – Pakistan’s gold market delivered another twist, with bullion prices surging Rs11,200 per tola in a single day as a powerful rally in international gold prices sent shockwaves through the domestic market.

The price of gold jumped to Rs465,236 per tola on Thursday. The sharp increase also pushed the price of 10 grams of gold to Rs398,864, following a gain of Rs9,602. The dramatic rebound came just one day after gold suffered a heavy Rs11,300 per-tola decline, when the price had fallen to Rs454,036.

Gold New Price
Gold – 1 Tola Rs465,236
Gold – 10 Grams Rs398,864
Silver – 1 Tola Rs7,044

The international market provided a major boost to domestic bullion prices. Global gold gained $112, climbing to $4,427 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Silver also joined the rally in Pakistan, with its price increasing by Rs185 per tola to Rs7,044.

Gold entered 2026 at approximately Rs457,000 per tola, but prices rapidly accelerated during the opening weeks of the year. The rally reached an extraordinary peak on January 29, when gold hit an unprecedented Rs572,862 per tola, the highest level recorded so far this year. But the record came with an immediate shock. Just a day later, gold reportedly plunged by almost Rs35,500 per tola, triggering a dramatic reversal that sent the market into a prolonged correction.

The pressure became increasingly visible in March. Gold began the month around Rs541,000 per tola, but by March 23, the price had dropped to approximately Rs470,655. A partial recovery later pushed the rate back toward Rs492,000. The estimated average price for March stood at approximately Rs505,612 per tola.

Gold showed relatively restrained movement in April, trading between approximately Rs469,650 and Rs496,180 per tola. The estimated monthly average was around Rs485,509.

The market remained under pressure in May, with gold moving between nearly Rs458,000 and Rs480,240 per tola. The estimated average for the month slipped to approximately Rs467,859.

The decline became even more pronounced in June. Gold touched approximately Rs423,370 per tola on June 11, while the monthly trading range remained between roughly Rs423,370 and Rs460,485.

July offered little respite to bullion investors. Gold traded between approximately Rs421,713 and Rs438,500 per tola, with the estimated monthly average falling to Rs428,499. Rs421,713 level marked one of the lowest points of the year, standing in stark contrast to January’s record-breaking price.

Then, in August, the market dramatically changed direction. Gold began the month near Rs425,500 per tola, but instead of extending its decline, prices embarked on a powerful upward run. The metal reclaimed the Rs450,000 level and continued climbing. The rally then accelerated, taking gold above the Rs480,000 mark.
