KARACHI – The gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp increase on Tuesday, with the price per tola rising by Rs4,600 in line with gains in the international bullion market.
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of gold per tola increased to Rs476,362 after the latest hike. The price of 10 grams of gold also rose by Rs3,944, reaching Rs408,403.
In the global market, gold prices climbed by 46 US dollars per ounce to reach 4,540 dollars, driving upward pressure on domestic rates.
