KARACHI – The gold prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs3,700 per tola after a sharp decline in international bullion rates on Wednesday.
The market data showed that the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs458,236, down from the previous level by Rs3,700. The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs3,172 to Rs392,863.
In the international bullion market, gold declined by $37 per ounce, bringing the price to $4,358 per ounce.
The decline in global gold prices was reflected in Pakistan’s local bullion market, where silver prices also moved lower.
The price of silver fell by Rs186 per tola to Rs6,800, while the price of 10 grams declined by Rs160 to Rs5,829.
Precious metal prices in Pakistan generally follow movements in international bullion markets, along with changes in currency exchange rates and domestic market conditions.
