KARACHI – Gold price decreased in Pakistan on Friday after it registered whooping increase during this week.
According to the Sarafa Association, the price for yellow metal decreased by Rs300 per tola to settle at Rs218,600.
Similarly, the gold price plunged by Rs257 per 10-gram to reach Rs187,414.In the international market, the price of gold remained unchanged $2,030.
Meanwhile, the benchmark KSE-100 index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) maintained its upward momentum on Friday to cross the 66,000 milestone in yet another all-time high.
The extensive bullish was witnessed in trading due to improvement in national economy ahead of the release of second loan tranche from International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The benchmark index closed at 66,034.38 points after registering gains of 1,316.31 points.
