KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continue to remain on a roller coaster ride, and price of a single tola dropped by Rs8,600, settling at Rs519,962.
The 10 grams of gold were sold for Rs445,783, down Rs7,373, Sarafa Association said. This comes just a day after Thursday’s modest rise, when gold per tola had climbed by Rs2,700 to Rs446,862.

Internationally, gold suffered a loss of $86, ending at $4,972 per ounce, with an extra $20 premium adding to the market tension.
Silver didn’t escape the slide either, dropping Rs501 to Rs8,324 per tola, leaving investors and buyers on edge as precious metals take a hit worldwide.
