A man tried to abduct a girl who was going back home after attending her college but the brave victim put up resistance and pushed the accused away, making him to flee in Misri Shah area.
The petitioner, Shair Khan, complained that though the respective police registered an FIR of the incident but they included the harassment sections instead of abduction. The CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media. However, police vowed to arrest the culprit who tried to abduct the girl.
In the footage, it can be seen that a person appeared from the backside and put his hand on the girl’s mouth in order to shut her voice who was also carrying her college bag.
But the brave girl wrested herself free from his grip and pushed him away. Then she ran away. The actor who failed in his attempt also fled the scene.
