Sindh Labour and Human Resources Minister, Saeed Ghani, on Sunday visited different areas of District Korangi and met different leaders and activists of the PPP at their homes to condole the recent death of their near and dear ones.
Ghani was accompanied on the occasion by PPP District Korangi President Jawed Sheikh, Information Secretary of the party Jani Memon, and other local leaders of the party.
Ghani, who is also PPP Karachi President, went to meet the bereaved family whose multiple members were recently killed and injured due to a blast in the underground water storage tank in their house in 100 quarters area of Korangi. He condoled with the aggrieved family and prayed for the departed souls.
Later, he met the bereaved father of the innocent teenage girl who was recently killed in Korangi after subjecting her to sexual violence. He condoled with the aggrieved father and assured him that persons involved in the barbaric incident wouldn’t be spared by the government as they would soon be arrested by the police for handing them stern punishment.
The Sindh Labour Minister then went to the residence of member Sindh Council of PPP, Haroon Khattak, for condolence over the death of his father and also prayed for the departed soul.
Then he went to the residence of a senior activist of PPP, Syed Fakhruddin, belonging to the union committee no 8 of District Korangi and condoled with him over the demise of his sister and also prayed for the departed soul.
In the end, the Sindh Labour Minister went to the residence of Adnan Mughal, who is nominated for the position of chairman of UC no 10 in Korangi by the PPP, and condoled with him over the death of his father and prayed for the departed soul.
