SaeedGhani, the Minister for Local Government in Sindh, has emphasized the need for expediting developmental initiatives by the Local Development Authorities (LDA) and Malir Development Authority to boost public welfare. Ghani chaired crucial meetings of both authorities on Wednesday, focusing on initiatives benefiting the public. During the sessions, detailed briefings were provided by officials from respective departments.
He directed the DG of LDA to promptly submit a comprehensive report regarding the availability of lands to the government. Additionally, he urged the MDA to request the Sindh government for the provision of plots for 631 million rupees allocated to Press Club members. Minister underscored the core objective of all government bodies to ensure affordable and improved residential schemes for the public. He specifically instructed the authorities to swiftly address encroachments in Shah Latif Town, New Malir, and Tehsar Town.
