Ghani reviews KWSSIP project progress

Sindh Minister for Local Government, SaeedGhani presided a crucial session of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Improvement Program (KWSSIP) took place on Thursday. The meeting included a detailed briefing by Project Director UsmanMazhar regarding the project’s progress.

Attendees comprised Additional Chief Secretary Sindh, Syed Khalid Haider Shah, Deputy Project Director Muhammad ShakilQureshi, Project Manager AkramBaloch, Deputy Director Asif Ali Khan, and other officials. A comprehensive briefing was provided to the provincial minister about various water and sewerage projects initiated in collaboration with the World Bank. The focus was on accelerating the pace of work on immediate projects and ensuring the necessary expansions are undertaken promptly.

SaeedGhani stressed the importance of resolving ongoing issues in the Karachi Water and Sewerage Service Improvement Program to address the challenges effectively.
