Sindh Minister for Education and Labour Saeed Ghani has launched an e-transfer policy approved by the Sindh Cabinet for the transfer and posting of teachers in the Education and Literacy Department.
Sindh Education Secretary Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo, Director Information Technology Tehseen Fatima, Assistant Directors Syed Muhammad Farrukh Warsi, Pervez Ali Tonio and others were also present on the occasion.
He termed it as a revolutionary initiative. On this occasion, he said that under the e-portal policy, for the transfer and appointment of teachers, they will no longer have to visit offices but they can submit their applications on their mobile or computer through the e-portal.
Sindh Minister for Education and Labour Saeed Ghani said that due to Covid, this policy has been started from July 6 this year while from next year it will be in place before the start of the academic year and under this policy teachers will be exchanged for 15 days every year.
Ghani said that three zones have been created under this policy. One will be the red zone, the other the green zone and the third the yellow zone.
Only the teachers of the red zone will be able to exchange themselves in the green zone due to the fact that the teachers in the red zone are more than the prescribed number of students.
The minister said that the teachers in the yellow zone will be in the prescribed proportion and from there they will not be able to go to the red zone.
However, they can go to the green zone only if the teachers from the red zone transfer to this zone.
