German stocks were almost unchanged at the start of trading on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index growing by 27.5 points, or 0.08 percent, opening at 12,764.45 points. The biggest winner among Germany’s 30 largest listed companies at the start of trading was premium carmaker BMW, increasing by 1.17 percent, followed by dialysis specialist Fresenius Medical Care (FMC) with 1.01 percent and Deutsche Bank with 0.99 percent. Shares of Delivery Hero fell by 1.83 percent. The German online food delivery company, recently promoted to the DAX to replace the insolvent payment provider Wirecard, was the biggest loser at the start of trading on Wednesday.— Xinhua
